Discover the environment of the north western part of Overijssel that is famous for its lakes, Giethoorn and the Belter and the Beulaker Wijden (open spaces). An area for water sportspeople but also for cyclists and hikers. The small historical fishing and harbour locations such as Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Hasselt are more than worth visiting. A little further away you will encounter the charm of Drenthe and more to the north the Weerribben-Wieden national park .
